Tour Itinerary
Collection takes place between 08h00 and 08h30 from your accommodation in Windhoek. Travel southwest through the Eros Mountains and Khomas Hochland Range, descending from the central plateau to the open plains of the Namib Desert.
Arrive in the small desert town of Solitaire, an oasis in the heart of the Namib Desert known for its peaceful setting, small bar, and famous apple pie. The town serves as a popular stop on the way to the ancient dunes of Sossusvlei.
Check in at your lodge and spend some time at leisure before your shared sundowner drive, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Namib Desert at sunset. Optional activities include hiking, cycling through the surrounding desert, or visiting the local Cheetah Sanctuary.

Start the day early to catch the sunrise over the Namib Desert, entering Sesriem Gate as the first light casts soft golden hues across the dunes. In the cool of the morning, take a walk through the desert with the chance to spot gemsbok, springbok, and ostrich.
Stop at the famous Dune 45, one of the most photographed dunes in the world, standing over 170 metres high. Those who wish can climb to the top for breathtaking views of the surrounding desert.
Continue to Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, where ancient camelthorn trees stand on a white clay pan surrounded by towering orange dunes. The contrast of colours makes this one of Namibia’s most striking and iconic landscapes.
Enjoy lunch at Sossusvlei Lodge, then visit Sesriem Canyon, a deep natural gorge formed over centuries by the Tsauchab River. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon and spend the evening at leisure.

Depart after breakfast for your journey from the Namib Desert to the Atlantic coast, travelling through ever-changing landscapes that showcase Namibia’s natural contrasts. Cross the Tropic of Capricorn and continue through the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes, descending into the dry riverbeds and canyons before climbing back up to sweeping desert plains. Stop briefly to admire the stunning desert views along the way.
Arrive at the coast and stop in Walvis Bay, where you can view flamingos and other birdlife gathered in the lagoon. Visit the nearby salt works before continuing to the seaside town of Swakopmund. This charming coastal destination is known for its German colonial architecture, wide-open streets, and cool ocean breeze. The mix of German and African influences gives Swakopmund its unique character, offering a variety of leisure and adventure options.
Check in at your hotel near the city centre. Dinner is included tonight and will be enjoyed at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning excursion to Cape Cross, home to one of the largest seal colonies in the world. Experience thousands of Cape fur seals up close, a remarkable sight along Namibia’s rugged Atlantic coastline.
Return to Swakopmund, where the rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure. Wander through the open-air curio markets, visit the Swakopmund Museum or the National Marine Aquarium, or simply enjoy the seaside atmosphere along the promenade.

After breakfast, depart Swakopmund and travel north towards Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Enjoy a scenic journey through Namibia’s changing landscapes, stopping en route for lunch before continuing to your lodge near the park’s southern boundary at Andersson’s Gate.
Upon arrival and check-in, meet your guide for an afternoon game drive in Etosha National Park. Experience the thrill of spotting lion, elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra, and various antelope species as you visit some of the park’s famous waterholes.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your lodge and unwind while watching wildlife gather at the floodlit waterhole, offering a magical end to the day.

Spend the day exploring the remarkable Etosha National Park, known for its vast salt pan and incredible wildlife diversity. After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive, visiting several of the park’s well-known waterholes where animals gather to drink.
Enjoy sweeping views of the Etosha Pan, a vast white expanse often described as the “place of dry water”. This striking landscape creates a dramatic backdrop for observing large herds of springbok, zebra, impala, giraffe, and gemsbok, along with a wide variety of birdlife. With some luck, you may also encounter elephants or lions in their natural habitat.
Return to your lodge in the late afternoon. Relax over dinner and end the evening watching the animals visit the floodlit waterhole, as the sun sets over the African bush.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Windhoek, travelling through scenic Namibian landscapes and small towns along the way. En route, stop in the town of Okahandja, home to Namibia’s largest wood-carving market, where you can browse and purchase beautiful handmade crafts as souvenirs.
Continue towards Windhoek, arriving in the city at approximately 16h30, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
