My journey in the tourism industry began over 20 years ago, driven by a deep passion for travel and a desire to connect people with unforgettable experiences. I’ve had the privilege of exploring much of the world, including extensive travel throughout Southern and Eastern Africa.

A transformative chapter in my career took place in Southeast Asia, where I spent over three years working with leading Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in Vietnam and Thailand. These experiences enriched my understanding of global travel markets and deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity.

When the pandemic reshaped the global tourism landscape, I took a bold step and launched my own venture, Travel And I Africa, drawing on the insights, relationships and industry expertise I had gained over the years. I’m incredibly grateful for the passionate and dedicated team based in Cape Town, whose commitment ensures we consistently deliver exceptional service and tailor-made experiences to our clients.

Being a 100% women-led company and holding a Level 1 BBBEE certification is a milestone we’re proud of. It reflects our ongoing dedication to empowerment, transformation and excellence within the tourism industry.

With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment and events industry, Glynnis has had the privilege of working with some of South Africa’s most respected organizations, including the University of Cape Town’s Speech & Drama Department, Computicket, Big Concerts, espAfrika (Cape Town Jazz Festival), and SBS Events (Joy of Jazz Concerts), among others.

Her career spans a diverse range of roles within the events and incentives sector, allowing her to build a deep understanding of both the creative vision and logistical precision required to deliver outstanding events. From initial concept to final execution, Glynnis brings a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to every project.

Beyond her local expertise, Glynnis’s extensive international travel has enriched her global perspective and deepened her appreciation for cultural diversity. This exposure allows her to seamlessly navigate cross-cultural dynamics, build strong international relationships, and deliver world-class experiences that resonate with a wide variety of audiences.

Kaylin brings a fresh and forward-thinking perspective to Travel And I Africa, blending the dynamic mindsets of both Millennials and Gen X. Her two years living in New York exposed her to a wealth of global trends and diverse cultures, experiences she now channels into connecting with the younger generation of travelers.

With hands-on experience working at a lodge and engaging directly with international guests, Kaylin has developed a strong understanding of the travel industry’s ever-evolving landscape. Her solid background in sales and marketing makes her an invaluable asset to the company, driving innovative strategies that fuel growth, enhance brand visibility and ensure memorable client experiences.
