Tour Itinerary

Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by a local representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy some leisure time before departing for a Zambezi River Sunset Cruise.

Relax as the sun dips below the horizon and the river comes alive with wildlife where hippos, elephants, and crocodiles often make an appearance.
Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Overnight: Victoria Falls

After breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Victoria Falls for a guided tour. Recognised as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the falls form a dramatic curtain of water between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya or The Smoke That Thunders, the mist and sound of the falls can be seen and heard from miles away.

In the afternoon, visit a Local Rural Village located about 20 km from Victoria Falls town. This guided experience provides insight into daily rural life, traditional homes, and local farming practices, with opportunities to engage with community members.

Afterwards, head back to your hotel and unwind, enjoying the rest of your day at leisure.

Later in the evening, you’ll be collected at 18h15 for the Boma Dinner & Drum Show. Enjoy a traditional meal accompanied by music, dancing, and interactive drumming. Optional experiences such as face painting, sampling a mopane worm, fortune readings, hair braiding, and local curios are available (additional cost).

Return to your hotel after dinner.

Located just an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park in Botswana is one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. The park is home to the world’s largest elephant population, as well as large herds of buffalo, prides of lions, and an impressive variety of birdlife, with over 460 recorded species.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Chobe National Park.
Your morning begins with a three-hour game-viewing boat cruise along the Chobe River, offering close-up encounters with hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and other animals that come to the water’s edge.

Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local hotel before heading out on an afternoon game drive through Chobe’s diverse landscapes, ranging from floodplains to mopane forests. Keep your camera ready for possible sightings of lions, leopards, and sable antelope.

By late afternoon, you’ll return to Victoria Falls, crossing back into Zimbabwe.
At 19:15, you’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Victoria Falls Theatre for an evening cultural experience. The show, Simunye – The Spirit of Africa, begins at 20:00 and tells a story through vibrant music, dance, puppetry, and performance, celebrating African tradition and unity.

Return to your hotel after the show for a restful evening.

After breakfast, depart for Hwange National Park, travelling by road (approximately 2.5 hours) or, if preferred, by local charter flight.

Hwange is Zimbabwe’s largest national park and one of Africa’s most diverse wildlife reserves, known for its large elephant herds, lion prides, and wide variety of plains game and bird species.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by check-in and some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out on a guided game drive through the park to experience its vast open landscapes and abundant wildlife.

Return to your lodge in the early evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the best wildlife viewing hours when the bush is most active. Return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and some time to unwind.

Late morning, take part in a guided bush walk with an expert ranger. This experience offers a closer look at Hwange’s smaller wonders — animal tracks, birdlife, and the unique vegetation that sustains the ecosystem.

Enjoy lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive through the park’s varied terrain. As the sun sets, return to your lodge to freshen up before dinner.

Enjoy another full day exploring Hwange National Park, beginning with an early morning game drive in search of elephants, buffalo, lions, and other wildlife as the park awakens. Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time.

Late morning, join a guided bush walk with a professional ranger for a closer look at the smaller details of the wilderness, from animal tracks to native flora and birdlife.

After lunch at the lodge, set out again for an afternoon game drive, capturing the park’s changing light and evening activity.
Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Frequently Asked Questions

The best time to visit Zimbabwe for safaris and Victoria Falls is between May and October, during the dry season. Wildlife is easiest to spot around waterholes in Hwange, and river levels at the Falls are ideal for visibility. From November to April, the green season offers lush scenery, migratory birds, and Victoria Falls at full flow.

Most travellers require a tourist visa for Zimbabwe, which can be obtained on arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport or online (eVisa). A dual entry visa is recommended for those joining the Chobe National Park excursion in Botswana. Always check the latest entry requirements before departure.
